Located in the former Olympia Resort ski hill and chalet area, The Social is designed as a year-round place for families, friends, teams, companies and community groups to eat, play, gather and celebrate. The concept combines indoor recreation, dining and bar experiences, rooftop gathering space and outdoor Adventure Hill attractions to create a new Lake Country destination rooted in local history and built for the next generation of Oconomowoc memories

What it is: A four-level indoor/outdoor entertainment, dining and hospitality destination planned for the former Olympia Resort ski hill and chalet area.

Scale: Approximately 70,000 square feet of indoor space, with rooftop and hillside outdoor programming planned as approvals, construction and weather allow.

Location: 1340 Snyder Way in Oconomowoc, within the broader Olympia Fields redevelopment near Highway 67 with regional access to I-94 and Highway 16.

Timing: Phased opening targeted to begin in late 2026, with full indoor operations anticipated in 2027 and outdoor programming following the approved operating plan.

  • Indoor play: pickleball, mini-bowling, arcade games, golf simulators, immersive darts, electronic shuffleboard and related activity spaces.
  • Food and beverage: chef-driven restaurant, sports bar, cafe/coffee shop, rooftop biergarten and event terrace.
  • Outdoor Adventure Hill: mini-golf, aerial trek/ropes, net park, slides, kid’s playground-style zip line, yard games and seasonal gathering areas.
  • Gatherings: birthdays, leagues, corporate outings, weddings, community events and live entertainment within approved operating plans.
  • Revives an Oconomowoc landmark and gives the former Olympia site a new public-facing destination use.
  • Adds a year-round, family-oriented entertainment and hospitality amenity for Lake Country.
  • Supports the broader Olympia Fields redevelopment with a place for residents and visitors to eat, play, gather and celebrate.
  • Positions outdoor activity, music, lighting and events as neighbor-aware and professionally managed.
